| Below is a set of standard rules that the Total Fight Challenge abides by. All fighters are informed prior to fighting about legal techniques and fouls. This list below is for the general publics information and not a definitive list. Legal Techniques: Punches, Kicks, and Knees while both fighters are standing Throws and take downs Punches to the head, body while on the ground and knees to the body Submission Holds while on the ground or standing Ways to win: Knock out Technical Knock Out Submission Judges Decision (10 Point Must System) Doctors Intervention Referee Stoppage due to fouls Fouls / Illegal Techniques: Elbow strikes Kicking a downed opponent Deliberately slamming an opponent on his head Throwing an opponent out of cage or ring Striking to the back of the head or spine Small joint manipulations Gouging, groin strikes, fish hooking or other foul tactics |
